One advantage of developing sensing technology in western Montana is having access to excellent field-test locations close to our office.
Earlier this week, the Novara team spent the afternoon operating away from buildings and power lines to investigate sensor self-noise in a lower-interference environment. We also evaluated a new lightweight battery pack, evaluated our rapid setup process, and collected measurements of signals of interest under real-world conditions.
Iterative testing outside the laboratory helps us better understand how our systems perform in less controlled environments and reveals practical opportunities to improve portability, setup, and field operation. Each session provides valuable data as we continue advancing our sensing technology toward reliable, deployable systems. Though field tests have been carried out throughout the spring and summer, we will be accelerating testing of our flagship C-UAS sensor system as we approach a new maturity milestone.
